From Dream to Reality
As a bag maker, I usually get inspired by the most beautiful bags. When I see them on the street. So you would not be surprised if I approach you because you’re carrying a lovely bag!
My passion for making bags comes from my grandmother, who was a seamstress. As a little girl, I loved diving into her wardrobe, searching for the most beautiful treasures. I inherited her collection of bags, fabrics, and other materials, and my dream was always to make bags myself. That dream has now become a reality!
Pure Craftsmanship
I design and create the bags in my home atelier. Through pure craftsmanship, each bag remains unique. I love vibrant and practical styles that are distinctive due to my own designs. For every bag, I use the finest high-quality materials and the most beautiful hardware. The careful finishing adds the perfect final touch to each bag.

Background
After a career in the financial sector, I decided to make my dream come true. And I succeeded! In 2013, I took a bag-making workshop in Amsterdam. In 2021, I took private lessons for one and a half years at the Leer Atelier VLP in Arnhem. After that, I completed various training courses to master the fundamental techniques as a craftswoman:
- Marquetry class with leather, by Valentine Huyghues Despointes and Melanie Durand in Paris.
- Saddle stitching technique, by Peter Nitz in Zurich. Additionally, I learned various techniques to craft a handbag in every detail.
- Repair and renovation, basic techniques with Roos van Put in The Hague.
- Various workshops on finished edges and cutting techniques.
- To keep drawing inspiration, I regularly visit fairs abroad.
